Service Learning Journal Reflection #1
Unfortunately, My service learning experience hasn’t gone well so far. The day I was supposed to go to service learning orientation, there was an academic integrity seminar I had to attend. As a result, I had to add an hour of service work to my total. In addition, I didn’t learn about the locations or procedures for service learning. When I had plans to volunteer on sunday, my family decided to stay late and have ‘family time’. Finding someone to go with was a priority of mine as well, so they could show me some of what was going on. I hope to fix this soon and better manage my time to work at the gardens.

I'm sorry it's been a frustrating experience so far, Jonathan. I just created a Service-Learning Meetup forum on Moodle, so perhaps you could post there and see if anyone else is planning on working this Sunday. I can also point out where the gardens are on a map if that would help :) Just let me know if you need anything.
